Why visit
Starfield Library is a large open-plan library located in the central area of COEX Mall basement level 1 in Gangnam, Seoul. The space covers about 2,800 m² (850 pyeong) and features towering bookshelves reaching 13 meters high. The open layout with skylights allows natural light to fill the interior, making it a signature photo spot for visitors to Seoul.
The library is open to everyone free of charge, and regular hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. It is within walking distance of COEX Mall, Bongeunsa Temple, and the Gangnam shopping district, making it easy to include in a day of exploring Gangnam.
As a permanent facility, it is available year-round regardless of season or special events. In addition to taking commemorative photos in front of the bookshelves, visitors can also use it as a genuine reading space.
