Centre Pompidou Hanwha Opens in Yeouido’s 63 Building — Paris Pompidou’s First Seoul Branch

The Centre Pompidou Hanwha, created through a collaboration between Paris’s Centre Pompidou and the Hanwha Cultural Foundation, opened on June 4, 2026 inside the 63 Building in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. This marks the first time the Paris Pompidou has established a partnered branch in Seoul.

The opening exhibition is 'Cubism', which highlights a major current in early-20th-century modern art. Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00, and Wednesday and Saturday from 10:00 to 21:00. The museum is closed on Mondays.

Situated in the heart of Seoul’s Yeouido district, the new partnered space gives international visitors another cultural landmark where, alongside K-culture, they can experience global contemporary art.
