As complaints continued over the event held for Blackpink’s 10th anniversary, member Lisa directly shared her feelings and issued an apology.
On the 14th, Lisa published a lengthy post on a fan communication platform, saying that “there are many stories circulating online” and that the situation felt very sad. She wrote, “I’m truly sorry that things unfolded this way,” and added, “I can’t even imagine how upset you must have been. I felt that way too.” Lisa emphasized that the occasion “should have been a special moment and a time to celebrate” for everyone.
She made clear the post was not meant “to justify anything or to stake out my position,” but explained that she simply wanted to “cherish the love and bond we’ve shared.” She closed by thanking fans: “I love Blinks and I’m grateful you’re always by our side.”
The controversy centers on the 10th-anniversary meet & greet Blackpink held on the 8th at the National Museum of Korea in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Fans grew upset after the event notice was delivered late and reports said only some members would attend, which created tension during the planning process and left many supporters feeling hurt and disappointed.
Earlier, Jisoo and Rosé also spoke about the matter, and Lisa’s message has been read as a continuation of those responses. Jennie, by contrast, was reported to have only posted a message of thanks to fans on the 8th. As members continue to reach out and try to resolve misunderstandings, fans’ reactions and what comes next remain in focus.
