Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Releases Multilingual Transport Guides for Foreign Visitors
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has produced image-based transport guides in English, Japanese and Chinese (simplified and traditional). They explain airport-to-city routes, how to use rail, bus, subway and taxi, whether overseas cards work, and how to install and use Korean transport apps — distributed via the VisitKorea website, Korea Tourism Organization overseas SNS accounts, and QR codes at tourist information centers.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has produced image-format transport guides for foreign visitors, available in English, Japanese, and Chinese (both simplified and traditional). Presented as images, the guides let users quickly see how each transport mode works and highlight the key information at a glance.
The materials list route options for traveling from airports to Seoul and to other regions, and provide step-by-step instructions for using rail, bus, subway, and taxi services. They also cover whether overseas payment cards are accepted in Korea and include instructions on installing and using domestic transport apps — useful reference when planning initial travel arrangements.
The guides are being distributed via the VisitKorea website, the Korea Tourism Organization’s overseas offices’ SNS accounts, and QR codes at tourist information centers nationwide. On-site QR codes allow visitors to access the image content immediately.
